At their January 25, 2015 meeting, the Museum’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously to invite three people to join the Board: Terry McNamara, Megan Bohlen Raymond, and Barbie Riegel.

The Board of Trustees of Fishers Island’s H.L. Ferguson Museum announced on December 23 that Elizabeth McCance has been unanimously elected as the President of the Museum, effective immediately. She graciously accepted her new position.
The museum will be closed to all visitors during renovations effective January 5, 2015. The date of reopening will be posted in the spring or early summer.
At the close of 2014, Charlie was still at Maria la Baja (a town in Bolívar Department in northern Colombia), where he migrated to from Fishers Island in the fall - and had reached on October 5. Most of his days are spent between Lake Maria la Baja and a smaller lake to the northwest in

The Museum is embarking upon a major project: the completion of our second floor and the addition of a handicap access elevator lift.
