We launch THE ISLANDER on the crest of the mighty wave, Friendship, the medium through which you helped to make it a success. The Board of Education made it possible for THE ISLANDER to complete its voyage and acquaint you with our activities, work, and achievements.
On behalf of the student body and the faculty, we wish to express our thanks and appreciation to John Hansen, printer, and to Edward Figg, Ernest Middleton, Kenneth Middleton, and Erwin Vancouver, assistant printers, for their faithful, painstaking work that has made THE ISLANDER a school product in the full sense of the word.
