Fishers Island native Peter Malinowski teaches marine science and aquaculture at New York Harbor School and is Director of the Billion Oyster Project. (BOP), an ecosystem restoration and education project aimed at restoring one billion live oysters to New York Harbor that engages hundreds of thousands of school children through restoration based STEM education programs. Pete has played a lead role in local marine restoration efforts, notably in connection with the Oyster Restoration Research Project (ORRP) in New York Harbor.

Paul Greenberg is the acclaimed author of the bestseller “Four Fish: The Future of the Last Wild Food.” His new book “American Catch: The Fight for Our Local Seafood” is published by the Penquin Press.
