FI Treasure Hunt

We hope every Island adventurer under 15 will join the search. Teams need to be at the Village Green to get their first clue: Saturday morning at 8am for the middle (7-10) and older (11-14) groups; 10am Sunday for the youngest (6 & under).

How Native American People Lived on Fishers Island

Join us at the Museum for an illustrated talk with archaeologist John Pfeiffer who will give an overview of Fishers Island archaeology that focuses on the excavation of sites, artifacts discovered, and John's interpretation of how Native American people lived on the Island.

THE SKETCHBOOKS OF CHARLIE FERGUSON

In the full sweep of Fishers Island’s history, there is no artist more synonymous, more closely associated with Fishers Island than Charles B. “Charlie” Ferguson. The main show features images from two of Charlie's sketchbooks which functioned as illustrated diaries that were filled with daily activities, nature observations, personal notes, and lots of art—drawings, sketches, and watercolors—in various states of completion.
