Welcome to the Fishers Island Treasure Hunt Headquarters

Gather your wits, your courage, and your crew—Captain Kidd’s cursed treasure calls once more! Whispers of ghost ships and skeletal sailors have been seen in our harbors again, which can only mean one thing: the 2026 Fishers Island Treasure Hunt is nearly upon us.

Hosted by the Henry L. Ferguson Museum, this epic island adventure is open to all. Part puzzle, part pirate legend, all fun—the hunt blends local lore, clever clues, and friendly competition for children ages 6 and under, 7–10, and 11–14. So rally your mates, sharpen your spyglasses, and prepare to chase down a tale centuries in the making.

AVAST! This year the Treasure Hunt will take place the weekend of July 18/19.

Also, there will be a 2nd hunt that begins on August 22, 2026.
