April 3, First Full Day Back: Charlie visited the nest at the West End Transfer Station around 7 a.m., then headed to Mumford Cove in Groton and was back at the nest by 8:30 a.m. He spent the rest of the morning between the nest and Hay Harbor. After noon, he headed back to Groton,
On April 2nd, Charlie flew all the way from the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, through New Jersey, New York and along the Connecticut shoreline to return to Fishers Island shortly after 8 p.m. He spent his first night back at Hay Harbor. April 2 ~ Hay Harbor
On Edwin's 23rd day of migration, he flew from New Jersey, through Yonkers/White Plains areas of New York, to reach Connecticut by mid day. He made a brief stop at Beaver Ponds Park/Bowen Field in New Haven from 3-4 pm, and then continued east to reach the Connecticut River by early evening. His data stream ended
On April 1, Charlie had continued his migration north leaving Virginia and reached Maryland mid day. On Edwin's 21st day of migration (March 31), he headed north from Maryland to Pennsylvania. He followed the Schuylkill River east, but then doubled-back northwest to Green Lane Reservoir in Perkiomenville (the reservoir is part of the Perkiomen Creek which is a tributary of the Schuylkill River). On his 13th day of migration (March 30) Charlie reached South Carolina, then passed through North Carolina on his 14th day to reach Virginia (March 31). On March 28, Charlie spent the evening among small lakes near the Flint River in the Bainbridge area of southern Georgia.
