March 23 ~ New Jersey to Connecticut March 23 ~ After a night in New Jersey, Edwin continued his spring migration north and headed towards New York. He crossed the Hudson River in Manhattan around noon, and passed though Queens and Huntington, then turned north across Long Island Sound. In the early afternoon,
March 20-21 ~ After previously reaching Virginia on March 18, Edwin remained in the state and continued to visit southern waterways including Lazaretto Creek, before heading to the Richmond area on March 21.
