Edwin Tracking May 29 ~ After a fourth night on Fairy Lake in Salem, CT, at dawn, Edwin headed to a nearby radio tower. He then started towards Gardner Lake, but looped back and continued west to reach the Connecticut River before mid-morning. He checked out the areas between Chapman Pond in East Haddem to Seldon Creek and Lord Cove in Lyme, then continued south beyond the shoreline.

On his way to Gardiners Island, Edwin stopped briefly along Orient Point and the Peconic River, then crossed Gardiners Bay to the island before noon. He spent the early afternoon between Gaylor Hole mid-island and Great Pond at the southern tip. Mid-afternoon, he settled south of Tobaccolot Pond for a while, then visited the nearby shoreline one more time before heading to trees west of the pond for the rest of the day and night.

Edwin Tracking May 30 ~ Edwin spent the morning west of Tobaccolot Pond on Gardiners Island. Early in the afternoon, he moved to Gaylor Hole and the nearby shoreline, where he remained until evening. Early in the evening, he returned inland to mid-island trees, then headed closer to Toboccolot Pond for the night.

In the early afternoon, Edwin headed to the southern portion of the island and Great Pond, then returned north and headed off-island. He passed Great Gull Island and continued north to Jordan Cove in Waterford, CT. He then followed Latimer Brook and other streams north and reached Gardner Lake on the Montville/Salem border by evening. After a brief stay, he headed south to Fairy Lake for the night.
