MAY 16 ~ Edwin spent the early morning, first along the west bank of the Niantic River, and then at nearby Latimer Brook in East Lyme, CT. Mid morning, he made a loop starting to the south at Gorton Pond and the Pattagansett River, then headed east to a lower portion of the Niantic River, and upon his return north in the early afternoon, he stopped first along the west bank, then spent the rest of the afternoon back at Latimer Brook. In the early evening, Edwin headed to the west bank of the Niantic River, then returned to Latimer Brook briefly mid evening, before spending the night back on the bank of the river.
