May 11 ~ Edwin spent the day and night at his more frequented waterways in East Lyme, Connecticut.
The morning and afternoon was spent between Latimer Brook, the Niantic River and Clark Pond, with one brief trip mid morning further west to Bride Brook. The evening was spent between Latimer Brook, Banning Cove and the Niantic River before he retired to the west bank of the river for the night.

May 12 ~ Edwin checks out waterways of the region, then returns to East Lyme.
Edwin spent the early morning between Latimer Brook and the Niantic River, then by mid-morning he began a loop out of the area, first heading west to the Connecticut River in Lyme for the rest of the morning.

Around noon Edwin continued on his loop, heading northeast through Salem, Montville and Bozrah to reach Bog Meadow Reservoir in Norwich before turning southeast across the Shetucket River. He then continued through Lisbon and Preston and reached Amos Lake before turning southwest. He traveled through Preston to Ledyard and Groton Reservoirs before turning west across the Thames River to be back on the Niantic River by late afternoon. Edwin spent the rest of the afternoon on the west bank of the Niantic River, then moved to Latimer Brook for the night.
