As an active partner and co-chair of the Fishers Island Seagrass Management (FISM) Coalition, the Museum is pleased to promote the dedicated work taking place to protect the Island’s seagrass. Year-round and seasonal residents of Fishers Island are invited to participate in an important survey.

The survey should take 5 minutes or less for you to complete and can be done on your computer or smartphone. Participation in this survey is voluntary. Participants must be 18 years or older to complete the survey. By filling out this survey, you are giving the FISM Coalition and FIC permission to use the data you provide. You will not be asked to give out personal information (name, email, phone number, address, etc.) in this survey. Any information you provide in this form will remain private and confidential. Only summary information representing aggregated responses may be reported publicly.

This short survey is a collaborative effort between the Fishers Island Seagrass Management Coalition and the Fishers Island Conservancy (FIC) to gain more information about fertilizer use by year-round and seasonal residents of the island community. The information collected will help inform future outreach and education efforts regarding the island’s water quality.

Any questions regarding this survey can be directed to FISM Project Coordinator, Connor Jones, at [email protected].
