11th Annual Thanksgiving Trail Clearing & Clean Up
(Plus “Oysters After” Party)

Friday, November 24, 2017
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

WHERE: Meet at the Museum before proceeding to the Nature Trails.

TOOLS: Please bring tools you are capable of handling effectively and SAFELY.

DRESS: We suggest you wear long pants, long sleeved shirts, socks and gloves to battle the thorns, ivy, and invasive plants.

BEACHES: Driven By Popular Demand. We will provide heavy-duty garbage bags for those preferring to clean rather than clear the trails and beaches.

OYSTERS AFTER PARTY:
All trail blazers are invited immediately thereafter to a post-clearing party AT THE MUSEUM
from approximately 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to enjoy drinks and oysters. Thanks to Fishers Island Oyster Farm, Summer Shuckers, and Bottlerocket.

During the post-clearing reception, please check out and enjoy this past summer’s annual exhibit “Photographers of Fishers Island, Part One: 1880s to 1930s” generously sponsored by Altus Partners and Chubb.
