Edwin 2014, June 14 – Baker Cove, to Northwest Waterways

6/14/14    Edwin spends most of the morning in Groton, first at Pohegnut Reservoir, then just to the south at the Tilcon/Baker Cover area from 6:15-11:30 a.m. He then heads east towards Noank, but circles back towards Baker Cove to fish along the shoreline and the Thames River reaching as far north as the Gold Star

6/15/14    Edwin spends the early morning at Oxoboxo Lake in Montville, and Gardner Lake on the Salem border to the northwest. Around 8 a.m., he heads west to fish along the Selden Neck Park/Hamburg Cove areas of the Connecticut River from 8:45-10:45 a.m., and then returns to Salem and is at Barnes Reservoir from 11:15-12:15

6/12/14    Edwin spends the early morning at Tadma Pond in Bozrah, then around 6 a.m., heads north to Gardner Brook, and then continues further north to fish along the Yantic River from 7:15-8 a.m. He then heads northeast towards Norwich and is at Bog Meadow Reservoir from 8:45-9:45 a.m., and then continues northeast to fish

6/7/14    Edwin spends the early morning fishing at Gardner Lake on the Salem/Montville border, then at Oxoboxo Lake to the southeast from 9:15-11:30 a.m. He then loops back between the two lakes before he heads west towards Barnes Reservoir, and continues northwest to fish at Lake Hayward in East Haddam from 1-1:15 p.m. He, then

THE SKETCHBOOKS OF CHARLIE FERGUSON

In the full sweep of Fishers Island’s history, there is no artist more synonymous, more closely associated with Fishers Island than Charles B. “Charlie” Ferguson. The main show features images from two of Charlie's sketchbooks which functioned as illustrated diaries that were filled with daily activities, nature observations, personal notes, and lots of art—drawings, sketches, and watercolors—in various states of completion.
