7/17/14    Charlie heads to Silver Eel Cove early in the morning, then to the southern shoreline before stopping near the nest briefly, then back to the southern shoreline, and then returns to his nightspot in the northwest trees from 9:45 - 11:30 a.m. He then hunts for food along the nearby shoreline to the east

7/18/14    Charlie spends the early dawn hours in the northwest trees, then stops by the nest area around 7:45 a.m., and then hunts along the southern shoreline and returns to the northwest trees from 8:30 - 9 a.m. He then returns to the nest briefly, then makes another trip to the southern shoreline and stops

7/15/14    Charlie spends the early dawn hours at the northwest trees, then heads to the southern shoreline to hunt for food, and then the northern shoreline, before heading to the nest at the west end Transfer Station briefly at 7:30 a.m. He then heads back to the northwest trees and nearby shoreline, then to Silver

7/16/14    Charlie spends the early dawn hours at the northwest trees, then hunts along the southern shoreline and returns to the nightspot and the nearby northern shoreline, before heading to the nest at the west end Transfer Station from 9-11:30 a.m. He then returns to the northern shoreline and is back at the nearby nightspot

7/13/14    Charlie heads to the nest early in the morning and remains from 6 - 8:30 a.m. He then spends much of the day hunting for food all around the west end and returns to the nest briefly in-between, then takes a break from hunting and remains near the nest from 3:15 - 5:15 p.m.

THE SKETCHBOOKS OF CHARLIE FERGUSON

In the full sweep of Fishers Island’s history, there is no artist more synonymous, more closely associated with Fishers Island than Charles B. “Charlie” Ferguson. The main show features images from two of Charlie's sketchbooks which functioned as illustrated diaries that were filled with daily activities, nature observations, personal notes, and lots of art—drawings, sketches, and watercolors—in various states of completion.
