Charlie Tracking June 26
June 26 ~ Charlie visited the western shoreline early in the morning, then briefly returned to the nest at the west end transfer station before heading off-island. He visited the mouth of the Thames River and then briefly stopped in-land near Baker Cove in Groton, CT, before retuning to the nest on-land. He made another trip to the western shoreline and Hay Harbor late in the morning, and returned to the nest through noon.
After noon, Charlie made a trip to the southern shoreline, then made a second trip to the Thames River, reaching slightly further north, then he stopped briefly in-land at Trails Pond in Groton, before returning to the nest on-island.
Early in the evening, Charlie made a trip to the western shoreline, then made a third trip to the Thames River, this time reaching the Goss Cove area north of the Gold Star Bridge. He briefly stopped inland again before returning to the nest on-island. Around nightfall, he made a final trip to the western shoreline and headed to the trees on Beach Ave for the night.

Charlie Tracking June 27
June 27 ~ Charlie had moved closer to the nest in the middle of the night, then in the early morning, he made at trip to the western shoreline and returned to the nest. Mid morning, he made another trip to the western shoreline and Hay Harbor area, then headed off-island to the Thames River. He visited the Shaws Cove area, then stopped briefly at a pole along the Clarence B. Sharp Highway in Groton before returning to the nest on Fishers Island. Around noon, he made a brief trip to the southern shoreline and returned to the nest.
In the afternoon, Charlie a trip to western shoreline and one to Hay Harbor, returning to the nest in-between. In the early evening, he visited the western shoreline, Hay Harbor and Silver Eel Cove, then headed to the trees on Beach Ave by nightfall.
