June 16 ~ Charlie spent the early morning near the nest at the west end transfer station. In the late morning, he visited Hay Harbor and the southern shoreline, then headed east to Barlow Pond before heading off-island. He reached Groton Long Point on the mainland and headed west towards the Poquonnock River, Baker Cove and the Thames River, then stopped in Groton before returning to the nest on-island mid-afternoon.
Charlie spent the late afternoon near the nest, then visited Hay Harbor in the early evening and returned to the nest before making a second trip off-island. He visited the Thames River and Baker Cover, then returned to the nest on Fishers Island for he night.
