Charlie Tracking June 5
June 5 ~ Charlie made a trip to Baker Cove on the Groton mainland early in the morning, then returned to the nest at the west end transfer station. He spent the rest of the morning between the nest, Hay Harbor and the southern shoreline. In the early afternoon, he made a second trip to the mainland, this time to the Thames River and stopped briefly on a pole along the Clarence B. Sharp Highway before returning to the nest on Fishers Island. He spent the rest of the afternoon, between the nest and Hay Harbor. In the early evening he made 2 brief back-to-back trips to the mainland, returning to the nest after the first one, and returning to trees on Beach Ave for the night after the second.

June 6 ~ Charlie spent the morning and early afternoon mostly near the nest on Fishers Island, with one brief trip to Hay Harbor around noon. Mid-afternoon he took a trip to Baker Cove and the Thames River, then stopped briefly on the mainland along the Clarence B. Sharp Highway in Groton, before returning to the nest on-island. Mid-evening, he made a third trip to the mainland, this time reaching north of the Gold Star Bridge and returned to Fishers Island to spend the night near the nest.

Charlie Tracking June 7
June 7 ~ Charlie spent the morning and early afternoon on the west end of Fishers Island, between the nest, Hay Harbor, airport, and the southern shoreline. Mid-afternoon, he made a brief trip to the east end of the island to check out various ponds, then returned to the west end to spend the rest of the afternoon and early evening between the shoreline and the nest. Charlie made a final trip to the southern shoreline mid-evening, then returned to the nest area for the night.
