Mid-morning, Charlie made a trip to the mainland to visit Baker Cove and the Thames River in Groton, CT, then returned to the nest on Fishers Island shortly after noon. He spent the afternoon and early evening making trips between the nest and the southern shoreline, Silver Eel Cove, and Hay Harbor. By nightfall, he had moved to Hay Harbor for the night.

Charlie Tracking June 4 ~ Charlie spent the early morning near the nest on the west end of Fishers Island, then made a brief trip to the southern shoreline and back, and headed off-island to the Thames River. He stopped for a break on a pole along the Clarence B. Sharp Highway in Groton before returning to the nest on-island around noon.

Charlie spent the afternoon, making trips around the west end, and returning to the nest in-between. In the early evening, he took another trip to the Thames River, then stopped briefly in some trees near Baker Cove before returning to the nest on-island. He made a final trip to Silver Eel Cove mid-evening, before settling near the nest for the night.
