Charlie Tracking May 16 ~ Charlie spent the early dawn hours at Hay Harbor then headed to the nest at the west end transfer station early in the morning. Mid morning, he took a brief trip to the Thames River and returned to spend the rest of the morning near the nest.

Charlie spent most of the afternoon hunting for food around the west end and visiting the nest in-between. Late in the afternoon he made a second trip to the Thames River and returned to spend the night near the nest, except for one brief trip to Hay Harbor.

In the early afternoon, Charlie made trips to Hay Harbor and the southern shoreline, then off-island, to Baker Cove in Groton, CT, and then returned to spend the rest of the afternoon near the nest on Fishers Island. In the early evening he made a loop to the east and north starting with West Harbor, then Hay Harbor and returned to the nest for the night.
