8/17/14 In the early dawn hours, Charlie heads east near West Harbor from 3:30 – 6:30 a.m., then heads to a spot near the southern shoreline from 7:15 – 8 a.m., and then hunts along the western shoreline before returning to the trees on Winthrop from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. Late in the morning he hunts for food off the west end of Fishers Island, then returns to the Winthrop trees from 11 – 11:30 a.m., and then visits the nest area briefly and trees on Beach until 3:30 p.m. Late in the day, Charlie hunts for food at the southern and western shorelines, then returns to the trees on Winthrop around 4:30 p.m. and remains in the area for the night.
