8/3/14 Charlie spends the early dawn hours among the trees on Winthrop, then from 7-9:15 a.m. hunts for food along the southern shoreline. He then returns north and spends the remainder of the morning and early afternoon between Hay Harbor and Silver Eel Cove, then returns to the northwest trees from 2:30 – 5 p.m. In the early evening, he heads south, near the nest briefly, then returns north to the Hay Harbor shoreline, then to the northern tip of the west end, and then heads to the western shoreline before returning to the Hay Harbor area around 7:45 p.m. and goes off radar for the rest of the night.
