7/11/14 In the early morning, Charlie stays near the nest except for a couple of quick trips to the southern shoreline and back, to hunt for food. Around 8:15 a.m. he ventures further east from the nest and then to the northern shoreline, but then returns to the western end and spends the remainder of the morning and early afternoon making several trips to the shoreline for food and returning to the nest briefly in-between. From 2:30 – 4:15 p.m. he takes a break from hunting and remains near the nest. In the late afternoon, Charlie makes another trip to the northern shoreline and returns to the nest from 4:45 – 7 p.m. He then hunts for food along Silver Eel Cove and the western shoreline and eventually returns to the nest by 9:15 p.m. for the night.
