7/8/14 Around 5:15 a.m., Charlie hunts for food at the shoreline just to the southeast of the nest before heading to the nest area from 6:15 – 8:45 a.m. He then makes a second morning trip to the shore southeast of the nest and returns from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m., and then a third, and returns from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. After noon he makes 4 trips to hunt for food all around the west end and returns to the nest in-between. In the early evening, Charlie makes one more trip to the shoreline southeast of the nest, then returns from 5:15-7:15 p.m. He then makes a loop from south to north along the western shore and ends up at the trees northwest of the nest by 9 p.m. for the night.
