7/3/14 Around 5:45 a.m., Charlie heads to the nest, then makes a trip west to Silver Eel Cove to hunt for food and returns to the nest. He then makes another trip to the western shoreline area and returns briefly to the trees northwest of the nest before heading out towards the Thames River and the Mainland around 10:45 a.m. He enters the mouth of the river and begins to head north, then loops back to the mouth and heads east into Groton and Baker Cove area but loops back south to Fishers Island by noon.

Charlie makes a couple trips around the west end shoreline before returning to the nest by 1 p.m. In the early afternoon, he makes a couple more trips to the western shore and one to the southern shoreline, then remains at the nest area from 3:15-4 p.m.

In the late afternoon and early evening, Charlie makes a few more trips west of the nest and returns in-between, then from 6:30-8 p.m. remains near the nest. He then makes a final trip to the southern shoreline before heading to this nightspot in the trees northwest of the nest around 8:45 p.m.
