5/30/14 Around 6:30 a.m. Charlie makes a quick trip to the southern shoreline of Fishers Island to fish and returns to the nest, then makes another short trip to the southern shore but then heads north towards the mainland and reaches Baker Cover in Groton before 8 a.m. then turns southeast to reach the shoreline of Mumford Cove around 8:30 a.m. and returns to the Island by 9 a.m. He spends the rest of the morning near the nest on the west end and fishing on the northern shoreline.

Around 1:45, Charlie makes another trip to the Groton mainland and reaches Baker Cove around 2 p.m., then heads up the Thames River to reach Smith Cove in Quaker Hill around 2:15 p.m., then west to fish at Banning Cove and Latimer Brook in East Lyme between 2:30-3:15 p.m. He then heads south along the Niantic River to Keeny Cove then turns east to reach Jordan Cove around 3:30 p.m. After fishing, he stops on a telephone pole until 4 p.m., then continues southwest through Waterford to return to the nest on Fishers Island by 4:30 p.m. Charlie spends the rest of the day near the nest and fishing around the west end of the Island, then retires to his nightspot to the northwest of the nest around 8 p.m. for the night.
