5/17/14 Around 5:15 a.m. Charlie heads toward Bakers Cove in Groton, then northwest across the Thames River to the Conn College Aboretum Pond, then turns southwest to reach Keeny Cove along the Niantic River and Latimer Brook between 7:30 – 8 a.m. He returns to the nest at the west end’s Transfer Station on Fishers Island before 9 a.m. He then, makes a few trips around the west end of the Island to fish before heading back to the mainland around 11:30 a.m. Charlie heads first to Baker Cove in Groton, then fishes along the Thames River as far north as Mill Cove at noon, and returns to the nest on Fishers Island by 1:30 p.m. He fishers around the west end during the afternoon and early evening, then heads to one of his night spots northwest of the nest around 8:30 pm. for the night.
