5/9/14 Charlie spends the early morning at the west end’s Tranfer Station nest, then heads to the mainland and reaches the Keeny Cove area of the Niantic River before 7:30 a.m. He returns to Fishers Island by 9:30 a.m. Just before noon, he heads out again, up the Thames River to downtown New London and then heads west to reach Keeny Cove around 1:30 p.m. Charlie then returns to Fishers Island around 3 p.m. for the rest of the day.
