5/7/14 Charlie spends the early morning by the nest at the west end’s Transfer Station, then heads to the mainland to reach Keeney Cove around 7:15 a.m.. He returns to the nest around 9:15 a.m. and heads out again around 10 a.m., up the Thames River to Mamacoke Cove then west to fish at the Niantic River. Around 11 a.m. he returns to Fishers Island again. Charlie makes his third trip to the mainland around 2 p.m. by way of Groton, then west across the Thames to reach the Niantic River before 3 p.m. Around 5:30 p.m. He returns to the Island to spend the night near the nest.
