5/3/14 Charlie spends the early morning at various locations around the west end of Fishers Island, then around 11 a.m. heads towards Niantic but before reaching the mainland circles back to the Island and then heads out again to the southeast of Great Gull Island around noon and circles back. Around 1 p.m. he makes another trip to Great Gull Island, but this time heads to Bride Lake in Niantic by 2 p.m. before circling back through Waterford to be back on Fishers Island before 3 p.m. Around 4:30 p.m. Charlie heads to the mainland again, this time over Pine Island and Groton, then crosses the Thames River to reach Keeny Cove along the Niantic River around 5 p.m., and then circles back over Ocean Beach just before 6 p.m. and continues to the Island for the 3rd night in a row.
