“Fishers Island welcomed over 90 visitors from the Town of Southold on Wednesday.  Town officials visited with their on island counterparts involved in the four tax districts (Waste Management, Ferry, School and Fire), toured the theater, installed a new street light fixture, attended a Land Use Committee meeting and more during the morning.  After serving lunch to all, the Southold Town Board held their meeting at the Fishers Island School.” Quote from fishersisland.net.

The Community Center hosts and promotes a wide variety of events and activities throughout the year, this being one of the most unique ones in recent memory.
