Charlie Tracking July 12
July 12 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie visited the southern and western shorelines on the west end of Fishers Island and made one trip out over open water to the south. Mid-morning, he headed off-island to the north and visited the Thames River. He entered the mouth of the river and followed it just past the Gold Star Bridge, then took a short break and continued north to Smith Cove in Quaker Hill. He then headed inland to the west, stopping first at Miller Pond, then Banning Cove and the Niantic River in East Lyme, and Jordan Cove in Waterford, before returning to the island around noon.
Charlie spent the afternoon making trips all around the west end of Fishers Island and taking breaks at various locations.
In the evening, Charlie visited the southern and western shorelines and stopped briefly near the airport, the returned to the nest area for the night.

Charlie Tracking July 13
July 13 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie visited the western and southern shorelines and returned to the nest area, then headed off-island to the Thames River. He reached a spot just north of the Gold Star Bridge near some railroad tracks and remained for a little over a half hour, then returned to Fishers Island.
Back on-island in the early afternoon, Charlie made a couple of loops around the west end, then headed back to the Thames River. He followed the river as far north as Clark Cove in Gales Ferry, then doubled-back to Smith Cove and continued south to take a break on the Groton mainland before returning to Fishers Island.
In the evening, Charlie remained not far from the nest, with trips to Hay Harbor, the airport and Silver Eel Cove areas.

Charlie Tracking July 14
July 14 ~ Charlie spent the early morning between the nest area and the airport, then headed off-island to the Thames River. He reached the Gold Star Bridge area, then made a loop to Groton Reservoir and back to the bridge before continuing north. He reached the area just below Mill Cove and doubled back to the mouth of the Thames. He continued south and was back on Fishers Island before noon.
In the afternoon, Charlie made a few trips around the west end shorelines, then headed back to the Thames River. He reached the Gold Star Bridge area, then doubled back to Fishers Island and visited the nest. He then headed to Silver Eel Cove for the rest of the afternoon and early evening.
Charlie spent the early evening between Silver Eel Cove, the airport and Hay Harbor. Around nightfall, he moved closer to the nest for the night.
