8/30/14    - MIGRATION DAY 13: After a long night's rest, Edwin continues his migration south early in the morning, then around 10:30 a.m. begins the longest open water leg of his migration, across the Caribbean Sea. He does not reach dry land for approximately 18 hours -  the following morning around 4:30 a.m at La Guajira,

8/23/14    - MIGRATION DAY 6: Edwin's data comes back just south of Middleburg Florida near White Sands Lake where he spends the early morning. Around 9 a.m., he continues his migration south and reaches the Caloosahatchee River in La Belle, Florida but then goes dark again, so it is unclear where he spends the night.

8/28/14 - MIGRATION DAY 11: After 4 days dark since Edwin reached southern Florida on Aug 23, his data is picked up again just before noon in Santiago de Cuba, as he continues his migration. Around 1 p.m. he reaches Guantanamo and continues to the eastern end, then crosses the ocean to reach Ouest, Haiti

8/21/14 - MIGRATION DAY 4: Edwin spends the early dawn hours at Little Coharie Creek in Sampson County, North Carolina, then around 9 a.m. continues to migrate south. 8/22/14 - MIGRATION DAY 5: Edwin spends the early dawn hours among the Sea Islands in Beaufort County South Carolina, then around 10 a.m. continues his migration south. He crosses the border into Savannah, Georgia by 11:30 a.m. and continues south along the coast to the reach the border of Florida by 4 p.m. He

8/20/14 MIGRATION DAY 3: Edwin spends the early dawn hours at the Cumberland Marsh Natural Area Preserve on the Pamunkey River in New Kent, Virginia. After 9 a.m., he begins to migrate further south and around 12:45 p.m., crosses the border into North Carolina. Edwin reaches Sinclair Lake in Sampson County, North Carolina around 6:45

8/15/14    Edwin spends the early morning in Hamburg Cove on the Connecticut River in Lyme, then heads south to the Nott Island section of the river below the cove around 9:30 a.m. He then crosses the river, west and passes through Essex to reach Deep River, then loops back to Hamburg Cove around 11 a.m.
