Charlie Tracking June 11
June 11 ~ Early in the morning, Charlie headed off-island to briefly hunt for food between Fishers Island and Groton Long Point. He returned to the nest at the west end transfer station and spent the remainder of the morning making trips to the southern shoreline, western shoreline and Hay Harbor and returned to the nest in-between.
In the early afternoon, he made another trip off-island and visited the Thames River and the Baker Cove area of Groton. He then returned to the nest on-island for the rest of the afternoon, except for one other trip to the nearby southern shoreline.
In the early evening Charlie made a loop around the west end and visited the southern shoreline, Silver Eel Cove, and Hay Harbor then returned to the nest before he made a third trip off-island, and visited Baker Cove and the Thames River. He briefly returned to the nest mid-evening, and made a final trip to Silver Eel Cove and back, then remained near the nest for the night.

Charlie Tracking June 12
June 12 ~ Early in the morning Charlie made a trip to the mainland and visited the Thames and Poquonock Rivers in Groton, then returned to the nest on-island. (Mid morning, he appeared to take another brief trip off-island but only stray data points were received, so it is unclear how far he traveled before returning to the nest).
Charlie spent the afternoon making trips to the southern and western shorelines, and Hay Harbor – and returned to the nest in-between.
In late afternoon, Charlie made an extended loop around the island to visit the southern shoreline and Hay Harbor on the west end, then Middle Farms and Barlow Ponds on the east end. He also visited West Harbor on his return to the nest. Mid-evening, he headed to the trees on Beach Ave for a while, then continued to Hay Harbor for the night.

Charlie Tracking June 13
June 13 ~ After a night at Hay Harbor, Charlie visited the nest around dawn, then took a trip off-island to the Thames River in Groton, and returned to the nest on-island early in the morning. He spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon mostly near the nest with one trip to the northwestern shoreline.
Mid-afternoon, Charlie made a trip all around the west end, then headed off-island to the Thames River. He visited the section of the river along the mouth then continued north of the Gold Star Bridge.
Charlie returned to the island in the early evening and visited the western and southern shorelines on his way back to the nest. Mid-evening, he returned to the southern and western shorelines and also visited Hay Harbor, then stopped by the airport on his way back to the nest for the night.
