April 29 ~ Charlie spent the early morning near the nest at the transfer station and hunting for food at the nearby shoreline and near Silver Eel Cove. He spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon hunting for food around the west end and visited the nest in-between. He then headed off-island to hunt for food at the Niantic River and Latimer Brook and returned to the island before evening.

Back on the west end in the early evening, Charlie hunted for food off the southern shoreline and Hay Harbor – with one short loop out over open water, but returned to the nest area by nightfall.

April 30 ~ Around midnight, Charlie had moved to Hay harbor, then before dawn on April 30, he visited the nest, and in the early morning, headed to the mainland to hunt for food at Keeny Cove on the Niantic River in Waterford, Connecticut. He returned to the nest from 7:45-8:15 a.m. He then spent the rest of the morning and just after noon hunting around the west end and visiting the nest in-between. The longest visit was from 10-11:30 a.m.

Around 1 p.m., he made a second trip to the mainland, this time to Baker Cove in Groton, and continued to the Thames River, as far north as the Fishers Island Ferry Terminal, then returned to the nest on-island. He briefly hunted for food along the nearby southern shoreline, then made a third trip off-island and headed back to the Thames River and Baker Cove in Groton. Charlie returned to the west end of Fishers Island in the late afternoon and in the early evening hunted for food at West Harbor and Hay Harbor and visited the nest in-between. He then spent the rest of the night near the nest.
