April 7 ~ After a 2nd night in a row on Miller Pond in Waterford, Charlie returned to Fishers Island.
In the early morning Charlie headed south to the Niantic River area. He made a brief stop at Banning Cove, then made a couple of trips further south, first to Smith Cove and back to Latimer Brook, then to Dodge Pond and back. He spent the remainder of the morning and afternoon in the Banning Cove area. In the early evening Charlie headed southeast and visited a small stream in Waterford before continuing to Fishers Island. He did not appear to visit the nest at the Transfer Station but spent the night nearby.
