8/21/14 Charlie spends the early morning between the trees on Winthrop and Beach with a few trips to the southern and western shoreline to hunt for food, then around 10 a.m., heads north off island. He reaches the mouth of the Thames River and then spends from 10:15 – 11:15 a.m. in the Baker Cove area of Groton and returns to Fishers Island.

From 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., he spends most of his time in the Hay Harbor area with one brief visit to the nest at the west end Transfer Station. He spends the rest of the day and early evening hunting for food along the southern and western shorelines with breaks in-between near the airport, at the trees on Winthrop and the Hay Harbor shoreline, then by 9 p.m. is at the Hay Harbor shoreline just north of the trees on Winthrop for the night.
