8/6/14 Edwin spends the early dawn hours at Hamburg Cove along the Connecticut River in Lyme, then heads south to reach the Old Saybrook shoreline around 9 a.m., and then spends from 9:30 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. between two wooded areas further inland. In the afternoon, he returns north, first to the riverbank above Nott Island, then to Hamburg Cove briefly and back to the riverbank, and by 5:45 p.m. returns again to the lower section of Hamburg Cove for the rest of the night.
