7/23/14 Edwin spends the early morning along Hamburg Cove on the Connecticut River, then around 10:30 a.m. heads east to Waterford. He reaches the shoreline at Millstone and remains from 11 – 11:15 a.m., then continues east to a small stream south of Waterford High School and some trees further south from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. In the afternoon, he crosses the Thames River and reaches Groton Reservoirs, then returns across the Thames and is back at the small stream near Waterford High School from 2 – 3 p.m. In the late afternoon, Edwin heads to the Thames River again and follows it north past the Gold Star Bridge to Smith Cove, and then continues north to Horton Cove by 4:30 p.m. He stays at Horton Cove for the rest of the day and night.
