7/9/14 Edwin spends the early dawn hours at Pohegnut Reservoir in Groton, then heads northwest to the Smith Cove area of the Thames River in Quaker Hill from 7 – 10:45 a.m. He then heads back towards the reservoir, but turns south towards Baker Cove and the shoreline, but then turns northwest and crosses the Thames River into New London around 11:30 a.m. He then turns south towards the shore, and then west to the Millstone/Niantic Bay area where he remains from noon – 4 p.m. In the late afternoon, Edwin heads west and is at the Lord Cove area of the Connecticut River from 5 – 6:30 p.m. In the evening, he heads northeast to Rogers Lake, and continues to Powers Lake in East Lyme by 7 p.m. where he remains for the night.
