7/8/14 Edwin spends the early dawn hours at Oxoboxo Lake, then heads northwest to the Gardner Lake area from 6-11 a.m. He then heads to nearby Zemko Pond to the west from 11:15 a.m. – 1 p.m. In the early afternoon, he follows waterways south past Lake Konomoc and stops briefly at Bates Woods Park on the border of Waterford and New London from 2 – 2:15 p.m.

He then heads northeast to the Thames River and stops in some trees just above the Gold Star Bridge in Groton briefly from 2:30 – 2:45 p.m. (Charlie has been known to also take breaks in this same location near Fairview Senior Living Center). Edwin then continues north along the Thames briefly, and then east to Latham Reservoir from 3-5 p.m. He then heads southeast to reach Pohegnut Reservoir by 5:30 p.m. and remains for the night.
