7/1/14 Around 5 a.m., Edwin heads northwest to Gardner Lake, then returns to Oxoboxo Lake from 8:30-9:30 a.m. He then heads northeast to the Yantic River and Bog Meadow Reservoir area of Norwich briefly, then continues northeast across the Shetucket River in Occum around 10:30 a.m. He reaches the Kendall Pond area of Lisbon, then heads southeast across the Quinebaug River and follows small streams to Amos Lake in Preston, and then heads a little further south to spend from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. near Avery Pond.

In the afternoon, Edwin heads west following Poquetanuck Brook and spends from 3:45-4:15 at Poquetanuck Cove on the Thames River, and then from 4:45 – 5:30 p.m. is further south at Horton Cove. In the early evening, Edwin heads northwest to return to the Oxoboxo and Garner Lakes area of Montville from 6- 6:15 p.m., then heads south to spend time at Barnes Reservoir from 6:30-7 p.m., and then returns to Oxoboxo Lake for another night.
