6/28/14 Edwin spends the early morning at Tobaccolot Pond on Gardiners Island, then heads west to the Gaylor Pond area and remains from 6-7:30 a.m., and then heads to the western shoreline and remains from 8-10 a.m. From there, he continues north to Plum Island and remains from 10:15-11:15 a.m. and then reaches the Connecticut shoreline by 11:30 a.m. and continues northwest to the Connecticut River. He follows the river north to reach the Hamburg Cove area around noon, then heads northeast to Gardner Lake and remains from 12:45-1 p.m.

In the afternoon, Edwin does a loop north, first following Gardner Brook northeast, then northwest to Red Cedar Lake in Lebanon, and continuing north to spend from 1:45-2:30 p.m. along the Yantic River. He then loops back to Gardner Brook and spends time at Gardner Lake from 3-3:30 p.m., then from 3:45-5 p.m. is at Gardner Lake Park southwest of the lake. In the evening, Edwin heads back to Gardner Lake briefly, the heads south to Oxoboxo Brook from 5:45-7:15 p.m. and, after a night away, by 7:30 p.m. is back at Oxoboxo Lake for the night.
