June 10 Around 5 a.m. Charlie heads to the shoreline northeast of the nest, then continues northwest towards the mainland and Alewife Cove on the Waterford/New London border and then returns to Fishers Island. He spends from 7:30-9 a.m. in the trees to the northwest of the nest, then spends the rest of the morning and much of the afternoon near the nest with one trip to the shoreline northeast of the nest and back from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Charlie then fishes along the shoreline north of the nest before making a second trip to the mainland from 5:15-6:45 p.m. reaching just north of the Gold Star Bridge along the Thames River. After stopping by the nest, he heads for the trees to the northwest of the nest from 7:15-8:15 p.m. then back to the nest from 8:30-9:45, and then back to the trees to the northwest for the night.
