6/9/14 Charlie fishes briefly at the southern shoreline early in the morning, then around 5:30 a.m. heads north to the mouth of the Thames River and then west towards Alewife Cove in New London, but then returns south to the nest on the west end of Fishers Island by 8 a.m. He remains near the nest for the next couple of hours, then heads out to hunt around the west end for an hour, and then around 11 a.m., he makes a second trip towards the mainland. He fishes between the mouth of the Thames River and Shaw Cove from 11:30-12:30 p.m., then takes a break in some trees in New London, and then returns briefly to the nest on Fishers Island around 1:30 p.m.

Charlie then heads to the shoreline to the north of the nest to fish around 1:45 and remains until 3 p.m. He returns to the nest briefly, then makes a third trip towards the mainland to the mouth of the Thames River and back between 3:45-4:15 p.m. He immediately heads back out to fish at the shoreline to the north of the nest, then back to the mainland for a fourth trip. He reaches Avery Point in Groton around 5 p.m., then spends a half hour in some trees to the northeast and returns to Fishers Island. He spends time in some trees northwest of the nest from 6:15-7 p.m. He then does some evening fishing along the shoreline north of the nest, and then returns to the nest around 11 p.m. for the night.
