5/29/14 Around 5:30 a.m., Charlie makes a quick trip to Latimer Brook in East Lyme to fish and then returns to the nest on the west end of Fishers Island by 7:30 a.m. Around 9 a.m. he makes a second trip to the mainland reaching Baker Cove by 9:20 a.m., then continues northwest to the Gold Star Bridge and spends from 9:30-10 a.m. at his favorite trees near Fairview and then briefly continues north a bit, but then returns south through Groton to Baker Cove and Fishers Island by 10:45 a.m.

Charlie spends the rest of the morning near the nest on the west end with a quick trip to the southern shoreline nearby to to fish.
He then makes a third trip to the mainland just after noon by way of Baker Cove and the Thames River, this time reaching as far north as just above Clark Cove near Lake Nova in Ledyard by 12:30 p.m.

He then returns south to Mill Cove and Long Cove by 12:45 p.m., then Rock Pond and Goss Cove, then appears to be heading for Fairview trees to eat, but continue south of the Gold Star Bridge then heads east into Groton stopping briefly at a few trees, then spends from 1:20-2 p.m. between two telephone poles on Clarence B Sharp Highway before returning to the nest on Fishers Island by 2:30 p.m.

Charlie spends the rest of the afternoon and evening near the nest and fishing along the southern shoreline, then spends the night near the nest.
