5/24/14 Just after 7 a.m., Charlie heads to the mainland to fish and reaches the Willys Meadow Brook area in Waterford, then returns to Fishers Island around 8:30 a.m. and spends the rest of the morning fishing along the southern shore near the nest.

Around 1 p.m. he makes a second trip to the mainland to fish at Baker Cove, then along the Thames River between 1:30-2:30 p.m. reaching Smith Cove in Quaker Hill. Charlie then turns southeast and reaches Banning Cove around 2:40 p.m. and remains in the Niantic River area until just after 5 p.m. spending much of the time at Latimer Brook and also making a couple of quick trips to Keeny Cove before returning east to the Thames River around 5:30 p.m. He spends about a half of an hour on a telephone pole along Military Highway just north of the Gold Star Bridge, then returns south to the nest on the west end of Fishers Island by 6:40 p.m. He spends the rest of the night near the nest.
