5/20/14 Charlie leaves the nest area on Fishers Island around 5:30 a.m. to briefly fish at the Niantic River and returns to the Island just after 7 a.m. He spends the rest of the morning fishing along the west end, then around 1 p.m. makes a second trip to the mainland by way of Bakers Cove in Groton and reaches the Gold Star Bridge area of the Thames River around 1:30 p.m. He then continues north to reach Mill Cove before 2 p.m. and then turns west towards Miller Pond and continues to the Niantic River by 2:15 p.m. Charlie returns to Fishers Island by 2:30 p.m. and spends the rest of the day and night near the nest at the west end Transfer Station.
