5/13/14 Charlie spends the early morning on the west end of Fishers Island, then around 8:30 a.m. he heads north to reach the mainland and the Gold Star Bridge area of the Thames River around 9 a.m. He returns to the Island around 10 a.m. and spends the rest of the morning around his usual night spot and the nest area at the west end’s Transfer Station. Starting around 1:30 p.m. he make a few short trips around the west end to fish and then around 4:30 pm., he makes a second trip to the Thames River, this time going as far north as the Mill Cove area between Quaker Hill and Gales Ferry by 5 p.m. Charlie spends about an hour between Mill Cove and the Fort Trumbull area of the Thames River before returning to Fishers Island by 6:45 p.m. He spends the early evening between the nest and his most frequent night spot but around 10:30 p.m. moves closer to the nest for the late night hours.
