The following clips captured some moments from the day the second egg hatched at Middle Farms nest.
MAY 31, 2024. This clip appears to capture the 2nd egg hatching mid day at Middle Farms nest. Please note, that just prior to this clip, mom osprey got up from the chicks and looked into the bowl for some time before she left the nest. At the beginning of the clip, dad lands and views activity in the bowl. After he leaves we see the second chick emerge from it’s shell. Soon after, mom returns and removes the empty egg shell as she nestles the chicks.
MAY 31, 2024. In the afternoon, dad delivers a fresh fish.
