This is a list of all the migratory and year-round bird species that were reported to the H.L.F. Museum in the calendar year 2019. The total count of species was compiled from data provided by our island bird watchers, led by Ken Edwards, and from seasonal bird counts conducted by the Fishers Island Conservancy and the Audubon Society. The sightings are recorded monthly, displayed in chart format at the Museum, and archived at year’s end.
